Geely Galaxy Warship 700 Launches in Q4: Midsize Hardcore PHEV SUV with Triple-Motor AWD and 305km Electric Range

On August 12, Geely Galaxy officially announced that its midsize-to-large SUV – the Galaxy Warship 700 – will hit the market in Q4 2026. According to previous reports, the vehicle is expected to arrive at dealerships by mid-August. Powered by a plug-in hybrid system with triple-motor all-wheel drive, it comes standard with a 47.14kWh battery pack delivering 305km CLTC electric range. Notably, the vehicle has completed an extreme summer testing program in Xinjiang’s Taklamakan region, calibrated to “Rally Taklamakan” standards – underscoring its off-road reliability.

Exterior Design: Rugged Aesthetics, “Awakening Lion” Face
The Warship 700 adopts a bold, boxy hardcore design language, with a front fascia named “Eastern Awakening Lion” and “Eye of Heaven” headlights that command attention. Orange accent trims and front tow hooks on the bumper enhance both practicality and off-road character. At the rear, a classic side-hinged tailgate with an external spare tire “backpack” leaves no doubt about its pedigree.
Dimensions measure 5,085mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,895/1,912/1,925mm in height, with a 2,900mm wheelbase. Approach and departure angles stand at 30° and 31° respectively (unladen), with a minimum ground clearance of 233mm – figures that rival dedicated off-road vehicles. Six nature-inspired color options are available: Danxia Orange, Medog Green, Sayram Lake Blue, Midui Glacier Silver, Everest White, and Yardang Black.

Interior Cabin: Five-Screen Interconnect with Luxury Off-Road Features
The interior adopts an all-new design language with a five-screen interconnected display system, paired with the Super EVA intelligent assistant and G-ASD Qianli Haohan ADAS. Standard equipment includes an 18.5L dual-opening front/rear refrigerator, 14-point massage seats for driver and passenger, a 0.99m panoramic sunroof, and a hidden roll cage – blending luxury comfort with serious off-road safety.

Powertrain: Triple-Motor AWD with 830kW Beastly Output
The powertrain is where the Warship 700 truly shines. It offers a choice of 2.0T (160kW) or 1.5T (120kW) engines, paired with a triple-motor AWD plug-in hybrid system delivering a combined output of 830kW. Differential locks further enhance off-road traction and recovery capability.
All variants are equipped with a 47.14kWh CATL LFP battery, offering 305km CLTC pure electric range – more than sufficient for daily zero-emission commutes. The chassis features dual-chamber air springs with CDC continuously variable dampers, striking a balance between on-road comfort and off-road capability.
With its hardcore off-road credentials, class-leading power output, and premium technology features, the Geely Galaxy Warship 700 is set to make a strong entrance into the midsize PHEV SUV segment. Its official Q4 launch is one to watch.
